STUDENT VISA

A study permit is the most important document you will need before arriving in Canada as an international student.

The study permit is a document that permits foreign nationals to study in Canadian DLIs (Designated Learning Institutions). Before you may apply for a study visa in Canada, you must be accepted at a designated learning institution. You must also have the relevant paperwork.

SPOUSAL WORK PERMIT

If you are the partner of someone who is temporarily residing in Canada and working or studying, you can apply for a work permit.

Family at Airport Gate

You can sponsor certain relatives to come to Canada under the Family Class if you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident over the age of 18.

These might include:

Your spouse

Your common-law or conjugal partner

Your reliant child (including adoptive children) or Other relatives who are qualified.

Your family member will be eligible to live, study, and work in Canada if they gain permanent status.

FAMILY AND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

VISITOR VISA

A visiting visa is required for the majority of travellers to Canada. A visiting visa (sometimes known as a temporary resident visa) is a document provided by the government that is stamped in your passport. It indicates that you satisfy the entrance requirements for Canada. You may be given admission for up to six months. You can apply for one or more entries.

To extend your stay as a visitor in Canada (stay longer in Canada), you must apply before your current status expires.

EXPRESS ENTRY

Express Entry is used to process permanent residence applications for the three federal economic immigration programs listed below:
 

  • The FSWP (Federal Skilled Worker Program)

  • The Federal Trades Training Program is a federal trades training program

  • The Program for Canadian Experience


Anyone who is chosen from the Express Entry pool may be issued an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence. Throughout the year, draws to entice applicants to apply are organized on a regular basis. Top-ranking candidates are picked regardless of when they were admitted to the pool. If you are requested to apply, you will have 60 days to submit an online application for Permanent Residence.

FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM

Construction Workers

FSWs are chosen as permanent residents based on their ability to settle in Canada and contribute to the Canadian economy. We assess individuals based on their English/French ability, employment experience, education, and other attributes that have been shown to help them flourish in Canada.

FEDERAL SKILLED TRADES PROGRAM

This program is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade.

CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS

To apply for permanent residency through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), follow these steps:

1. You must have completed the requisite work experience in Canada while holding the appropriate work permits or authorizations.

2. You must also be fluent in one of Canada's two official languages.

SUPER VISA

Canadian citizens and permanent residents are also eligible to apply for a Super Visa for their parents. A super visa allows parents and grandparents to spend up to 5 years visiting their children and grandkids. It is a multi-entry visa that allows multiple entries for up to ten years.

PERMANENT RESIDENCY

Apply for PR in Canada -A permanent resident is someone who has been granted permanent resident status after moving to Canada but is not a citizen of Canada. Permanent residents are citizens of other nations, but they have numerous rights and duties as well. If you pay your taxes and follow federal and provincial laws and regulations, you will be entitled to the same social benefits as Canadian citizens, such as health care, the Canada Pension Plan, employment insurance, the right to live, study, or work anywhere in Canada, and protection under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

CITIZENSHIP

If you have been a permanent resident of Canada for at least 1,095 days in the past five years, can prove your language skills, have filed your taxes, and have passed an exam on your rights, obligations, and comprehension of Canada, you may apply to become a citizen.

WORK PERMITS

Most persons require a work permit in order to work in Canada.
There are two sorts of work permits: open work permits and employer-specific work permits.
Open work permits allow you to work for any employer in Canada.
There are a few exceptions.
Employer-specific work permits-An employer-specific work permit allows you to work according to the terms on your work permit, which include:
a. the name of the employer you can work for;
b. how long you can work;
c. the place where you can work (if applicable).

LABOUR MARKET IMPACT ASSESSMENT (LMIA')

A Canadian LMIA is a document that a Canadian business must get before recruiting most sorts of foreign employees. A positive LMIA certifies that a foreign worker is required to fill the task at hand and that no Canadian worker is available to do so. A temporary foreign worker has six months after receiving a positive LMIA to apply for a work visa.

PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM

This program is designed for employees who have the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to the economy of a given province or territory, wish to live in that province, and wish to become permanent citizens of Canada.

Each province and territory has its own "streams" and requirements (immigrant programs aimed towards certain populations).
